The Entrepreneurship & Innovation students competed in a Business Simulation Competition at ICC against several area high schools (11 Teams). All four of our teams walked away with gift card prizes and the 1st place trophy. The 1st and 3rd place teams will compete on May 14 in the National Virtual Competition. Thanks to WLCS for participating in the Washington Clean Up event and making our campus and the surrounding area look amazing!

Students competed at the Mid-Illini Automotive Competition and placed 3rd overall. Individuals also earned medals at the event. Way to put your skills to the test and succeed!

Several senior students gave up their days off last week to attend the Innovations Conference on Infrastructure in East Peoria. Congrats to all the students who earned grants and scholarships!

The Accounting 1 and 2 classes took a field trip to ISU for an Accounting Challenge. They competed against 185 other students from schools in the area to test their accounting knowledge. Winners from WCHS won scholarship money to ISU and also team challenges. Congratulations on your success and knowledge! The Washington Community High School District #308 Board of Education welcomes the community at board meetings.
